3GP Piping Engineer-Designer Spool Shop, Tengiz, 6/3
This position is a member of the 3rd Generation Plant (3GP) Project’s site engineering team, responsible to provide engineering support for the construction, systems turnover, and start-up activities in Tengiz. Reporting to the 3GP Site Engineering Lead; the primary role of this position is to be resident in the 3GP ME&I contractors’ onsite pipe spool shops and head off engineering/design issues as efficiently as possible. Key responsibilities include: support overall work in spool shops, act as the key liaison between engineering and piping fabrication, support changes (DCNs) by helping to confer fabrication status/impact.
a) 5+ years of experience with piping engineering/design and piping fabrication is required.
b) Oversight of pipe fabrication/spool shop experience is required.
