Carries out skilled installation, repair, modifications, preventive and breakdown maintenance work on a variety of electrical equipment and other systems and components in the Plant. Carries out preventive maintenance and calibration of all devices, switches and switchgears in the substations and Main Distribution Centre
Carries out installation, repair and maintenance of electrical system components and equipment including repairing and overhauling of L T & HT motors and switchgear, charging of batteries
Carries out diagnosis, repair, maintenance and replacement of electrical parts In various types of equipment, includes inspection, fault identification and repairs of such components as starters, drive systems, generators, alternators, switchgears etc_ Tests and checks for sound operation.
Technical Secondary Education (12 Years) + 3 years Diploma
8 years experience in electrical repair and maintenance work in the Fertilizer, Oil Refining or Petrochemical Industry.
