Natural Resources are urgently seeking to recruit a CONTRACTS MANAGER for a long term residential contract, based in ABU DHABI, on married or single status. The project is a Facilities Capacity Enhancement in the UAE. The scope includes installation of a new fifth oil processing train, a new electrical substation, a new local equipment room (LER), utilization of the existing control room and augmentation of the existing common facilities and utilities. . 15 years demonstrated Contract Management experience, including practical working knowledge of FIDIC 1999 form of Contract.  The position will be responsible for the Contractual and Commercial Management of the Contract including leading a team of around 6 to 8 staff comprising Contract Administrators and Quantity Surveyors. Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Ability to read and interpret Construction Drawings, Method Statements, Scheduling, WBS, RFI, ITR and other related project documentation (attention to detail a must). Candidates with an Engineering or Quantity Surveying background would be most suited to apply and in particular with post graduate Qualifications in Contract Law and or Construction Law.
