Natural Resources seeking to recruit CONTRACTS MANAGER (Substructure & Superstructure of multiple Low, Mid & High-Rise Buildings) based in QATAR, on married or single status-
15 years demonstrated Contract Management experience, including practical working knowledge of FIDIC 1999 form of Contract. However, candidates with AS2124, AS4000, NEC, JCT or similar forms of Contract experience will be considered.
Responsible for the Contractual & Commercial Management of the Contract including leading a team of around 6/8 staff comprising Contract Administrators & Quantity Surveyors. The Lump Sum FIDIC (as amended) Contract is for the Sub/Superstructure of multiple low, mid, high-rise buildings with a combined value of around 3 Billion QR.
Must have an excellent command of both written &spoken English.
Ability to quickly interpret incoming correspondence & prepare timely replies in accordance with the relevant provision of the Contract.
Ability to read & interpret Construction Drawings, Method Statements, Scheduling, WBS, RFI, ITR
Engineering or Quantity Surveying background would be most suited to apply & in particular with post graduate Qualifications in Contract Law & or Construction Law.
