Requirement:
The preferred candidate should have 10+ years of relevant industry experience and ideally will have a vendor packages management background with instrument, electrical, and mechanical discipline engineering familiarity.
To be successful the selected candidate will need to have good interpersonal communication (working relationships will be essential for success), good influential leadership skills, experience in driving accountability with those working in remote office locations, and organizational skills to keep track of multiple concurrent activities that require interfacing with numerous personnel in different remote locations.

Requirement:
- Higher education in relevant field Recognised qualification in quantity surveying; - Member of the RICS or other equivalent;
At least 10 years experience in quantity surveying and contracts work in the oil and gas industry, preferably including experience on onshore plant ME&I construction work. Technical/major capital project experience desirable.
English (level 3+ and higher) – Kazakh and/or Russian is also an advantage
Previous experience with supply chain management software applications. Proficient with most Microsoft Office based applications and shared document management systems.
Experience working in Kazakhstan
Experience with major international EPC contractors
Experience working in a quantity surveying role on a major onshore oil and gas installation
Experience managing a multi-currency, unit rate construction contract structure in an international environment
Experience work on modular construction practices and associated change management
Experience working with standard methods of measurement
Ability to understand, interpret and draft unit rate preambles
Ability to administer extension of time requests and determine compensation adjustments
