Technical Design Manager – Dams and Hydropower
ewi are recruiting for Technical Design Manager on behalf of major European Consultancy. For this position they are looking for a top-level candidate due to the exceptional magnitude of the project (highest dam in the world). The ideal candidate should have background on dam projects (10 years minimum experience).
Duties:
• Review of the Civil Works construction method statements and technical specifications;
• Review and acceptance of the as-built drawings;
• Preparation of letters related to design issues, construction issues, drafting MoM, etc…;
• Support to the Master Planner about design schedule adherence by the Contractor and management of design interfaces;
• Support to the team for the analysis and assessment of project risks
• Review of Contractor’s Inspection and Test Plans;
• Review of monitoring reports produced by the Contractor for various structures under Construction;
• Participation in the handover process as structures are handed over from Employer to Contractor.
